Care Concept Scholarship for Refugees - Anas' second report: Study and work during lockdown

Anas and the Coronovirus By now I have gotten used to the digitized lectures and the conversations and collaboration with fellow students via Zoom. It is very amazing to see how creative and innovative humanity is. It is so inventive that within such a short period of time, it has made practicals and experiments possible with the highest efficiency. Even a vaccine is now available.
It gets funny, though, when the lecturer is not very familiar with the Apple pencil and iPad, and the lecture then turns into a lesson where the students get to teach the professor how to use the iPad.
However, it was difficult for me when I had to look for a job in a company for my internship semester. I applied everywhere, even to companies where I had worked before and with whose managers I have a good contact. Nevertheless, I was unsuccessful, Corona left me no other option but to postpone my internship semester to another time. That's how most students feel at the moment, and TH Köln can't help us in our search either. The industry is at a standstill.

Night shift Working at the tutoring school has become a relief from the lectures for me. I really enjoy going there, especially in a time when there are nearly any social contacts anymore. At the tutoring school, I can meet my students live and not online. Unfortunately, I was recently notified by the tutoring school that no more face-to-face classes are allowed, but now only online. So I was faced with the challenge of organizing an online event and making the lessons as efficient as possible for my students. And I seem to have succeeded very well. But no classes at school also means more time for my activities in my free time

Cologne Central Station My free time during the lecture phase is filled 80 percent with sports. Almost every day I go jogging and enjoy the nature of the city of Wuppertal. Since I haven't lived in Wuppertal that long and therefore I don't know all the corners of this city, I discover every day while jogging the beautiful landscape and the fascinating views from the mountains, from where you can see the whole city from above.
Besides, I have discovered another gift in me, and that is cooking. I am amazed myself by my cooking skills and now I love to spend time conjuring up delicious dishes.
