We all get slowly used to the new lifestyle with Corona now. Spring calls us to be out all the time, there are blossoms everywhere, so it is not that easy to stay home. Still, we are lucky that Berlin doesn’t have to experience a real lockdown. We can go to parks, we can still meet friends but with distance and masks on our face.
It is a strange time for everyone, who is struggling with their jobs. But honestly, I believe maybe this was completely essential to happen for many reasons such as “Climate Change”.
Personally, I am doing fine and enjoying the new life at the moment. I’ve been working out for a week now, which I’ve really missed before. At work, we’ve managed to have online meetings with other colleagues. Everything is different and maybe a bit difficult to handle, but not impossible.
I am very glad how university worked out in this situation, we have done the first part of our second semester and we’ve managed to learn and discuss all the topics online with each other and also with professors. I cannot imagine what the situation would be like without internet!
Apart studying and working, whenever I find free time, I bike to many lakes and woods around Berlin. The nature and silence is incredible! This is one part of the Corona situation that I really appreciate. In the last month, I was able camp twice in two weeks. Well, it is not a very hard thing to do. You need your bike, a tent, sleeping bag and simple food to eat :) I can say for sure, if I didn’t have the chance to go to nature to relax, I could easily go crazy!!! It is important to find something that keeps you calm and also functional. This is what works for me: Camping and Hiking :)
Generally, it seems that Berlin does not take the current situation very seriously. Maybe, because Germany is still doing well with controlling the outbreak of the Coronavirus or maybe this is also part of Berlin’s coolness :D
I hope that everybody stays healthy, not only physically, but also mentally. Try to find a self-routine in these days. :)
