Admission and enrollment in AustriaThe requirements for admission to a university in Austria depend on the individual university. There are also differences between the individual degree programs. Before you apply, you should definitely check the website of the university of your choice to find out what requirements you have to meet.
Normally, the following minimal requirements apply:

For a Bachelor's degree program:

  • General higher education entrance qualification
  • For students from a non German-speaking country: proof of sufficient German language skills

For a Master's degree program:

  • Completed undergraduate degree in a field related to the field of study
  • For students from a non German-speaking country: proof of sufficient German language skills
