I would like to tell you about my visit to Innsbruck at the end of February. I have already visited Innsbruck a few years ago, but it was very exciting to come there again. I was also recently in Innsbruck during my trip to Bologna, but I was just waiting at the station for my train connection. So, then I said to myself that I should also visit Innsbruck.
I enjoyed this day very much because of sunny weather and beautiful alpine surroundings. When I was walking, I saw from the very beginning people in different masks and costumes: Pirates, animals, Barbies.... This surprised me because I didn't know why all these people were wearing such clothes. But when I got to the main square, I understood everything: there was the family carnival. At the main square there was a big stage where a presenter dressed like a rabbit greeted everyone who came. Unfortunately, I didn't know about it earlier, and that's why I didn't have a costume. But it was very interesting to watch these people. That's why my trip was a bit more special.
And best of all, on my way back to the station I bumped into my friend and cellist Julia. What a nice coincidence!
In Linz there are several museums, but Lentos I have not visited yet. In this museum there are works of art not only by famous artists, but also many interesting things by not so famous people. I was very happy to see works by authors I had only learned or read about before. For example, it is about Andy Warhol, whose mother was from my country, or Gustav Klimt. But my favorite work was an installation "Ritual Room" by Johann Jascha. In this room there were beer bottles, cans, pictures.... and nothing in order. Nevertheless, I felt a lot of peace in this room. I spent a lot of time in this room, attracting its transcendental energy and relaxing a bit.
