Sara Alessandra's letter of motivation

My name is Sara Alessandra Scheibel and I am currently a student at the University of Bremen, where I am studying inclusive education and mathematics in the fourth semester. In addition to my studies, I work in preventive care for children and adolescents with physical and/or mental impairments, which gives me a lot of pleasure.

In the framework of the Erasmus+ program, I have been given the opportunity to study in the winter semester 2021/2022 in Salzburg at the Stefan Zweig University of Education and gain experience in relation to my future teaching profession. In this context, I became aware of your announcement of a scholarship.In my free time, I love to take photos and also like to stand in front of the camera myself. I would describe myself as a very open-minded, friendly and ambitious person. In the week I teach 2 times a week Zumba, which is a lot of fun for me, because I'm generally a very active person, which plays in Salzburg and the beautiful surroundings with the mountains, me of course very much. In addition, I like to go hiking and walking, as I get the sport and so many impressions, which I would often otherwise not so easy.

Since I spend most of my free time very socially and often surrounded by people, but I am also happy some times for me to come to rest. If that is the case, you will not find me so easily, but hear me. I then usually play the harp and sing. Music is something very elementary in my life, both privately and professionally. Music is something very calming and very profound, which can often give support and refuge through the melody. So I do not always play for myself alone, but also in residential groups, or in school classes, if the current situation allows.

In addition, I love to travel. My last trip was to Iceland in April 2021. There I have made a round trip with a campervan and experienced incredibly many experiences and impressions. During my time in Austria, I also plan to travel and hike a lot. With my car, with which I will travel to Austria, I want to be able to see and experience as much as possible.

During my semester abroad, I will be living in the Salzburg Lehrerhaus, in a 4-person shared apartment, which I am really looking forward to, as I will get to know many different people there. I would be very happy to capture impressions and experiences for you as part of the scholarship, as this can be very helpful for both me and future students abroad. I also wished this very much at the beginning of my decision, as there were very few such offers to get an idea of studying and student life in Austria.
